<br />One day last year when I was creating my web site- <b><a href="http://www.manymuses.com">MANYMUSES STUDIO</a></b>
<br />I was having a bit of sport on my <a href="http://www.manymuses.com/moremuses.html"><b>Moremuses</b></a> page and decided to add some links to fun and quirky places on the net. I have always loved Mad-libs so I decided to throw in a couple of quick links to some of the best sites for word-o-philes like myself. I was astounded by the results.

<br />It seems there are literally thousands of people out there just like yourselves,
<br />searching the world for opportunities to put adjectives and verbs in compromising positions!
<br />
<br />The phrase <i>mad-libs</i> has now become the most frequently searched-for term that brings visitors to my web site!
<br />Hey, give the people what they want, I say and I intend to give it to you good, you filthy rabble.
<br />
<br />I know just how you feel, my fellow lovers of the mother tongue.
<br />There is nothing like crafting something sublimely absurd with words.
<br />How I love the <a href="http://www.cs.indiana.edu/hyplan/kinzler/fun/shr_sounds/noun.au">parts of speech</a>. Once I get started doing a few quality Mad-libs, I find it hard to stop.
<br />I insert the names of my mad-cap friends and when I have finished having my way with them, email them the results complete with ridiculous scenarios and of course, off-color <a href="http://www.cs.indiana.edu/hyplan/kinzler/fun/shr_sounds/adjective.au">adjectives</a> and compromising entanglements.
<br />
<br />The word <b>ham</b>, for instance, takes on a rather more fascinating meaning full of subtle ironies when juxtaposed against another word such as....say...undulating or perhaps flaccid.
<br />It is the poetry of the common man. Found poetry.
<br />
<br /> Mad-libs bring such simple joy to so many. They may very well save our society from ruin. Don't knock it. Nothing else seems to be working...
<br />
<br />So, on this note of peace and goodwill to all, I bring you, what you all seem to be clamoring for-
